Hands-On Projects

WORKSHOPS & CLASSES

At Ruston Community Men's Shed, we offer a variety of hands-on learning opportunities for people of all ages. Our fully-equipped work shed provides the perfect space to work on your next project, whether it's building furniture or tinkering with electronics. We also offer a range of workshops and classes, both in person and online, to help you learn new skills and meet new people.

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

The Ruston Community Men's Shed believes in giving back to our neighbors. Over the years we have been proud to partner with various local organizations and charities to make our area of North Louisiana a better place. The Men's Shed has created beds for underprivileged children, raised containers for local school gardens, a donation box for our local CCA, a pantry cabinet for a local elementary school, a workbench for the Rob Cosman Purple Heart Project and so much more! We appreciate every opportunity we've been given to pour into our community.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

We believe that social interaction is just as important as working on individual projects. That's why we host Shed Fest every year. Vendors at Shed Fest specialize in various art forms: wood working, painting, metal works, beading, pottery and so much more! It's our most popular event and is a great way to meet members of our community while supporting local creators and organizations.
